Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Lucio Labs website at luciolabs.com, or by engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use this site or our services.

Lucio Labs provides custom website design, development, and related digital services to small businesses and individuals. The scope, timeline, and pricing of any engagement are confirmed in a written proposal or invoice before work begins. No work is started and no payment is due until both parties have agreed in writing.

Estimates provided through our website estimator tool are approximations only and do not constitute a binding quote. Final pricing is confirmed in a written proposal after we understand your full project requirements. Prices are subject to change if the project scope changes materially after agreement.

Payment terms are specified in each project proposal. Typically, a deposit is required before work begins and the remaining balance is due upon project completion or delivery. Invoices unpaid after 30 days may incur a late fee of 1.5% per month.

For recurring services such as hosting or maintenance plans, payment is due on the first of each billing period. We reserve the right to suspend services for non-payment with 7 days' written notice.

You agree to provide accurate project information and timely feedback during the design and development process. Delays caused by late content delivery, extended approval windows, or scope changes that expand beyond the original agreement may affect the quoted timeline and price.

You represent that you own or have the right to use any content, images, logos, or other materials you provide to us for inclusion in your project.

Upon receipt of final payment, you own the final deliverables created specifically for your project. Lucio Labs retains ownership of any underlying frameworks, tools, libraries, and pre-existing code we develop independently, which may be reused across projects.

We reserve the right to display completed work in our portfolio unless you request otherwise in writing before the project begins.

Each project includes a specified number of revision rounds as outlined in the project proposal. Revisions beyond the agreed scope will be quoted and billed separately at our current hourly rate. Requests that fundamentally change the agreed design direction or add new features are considered scope changes, not revisions.

Lucio Labs is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or the delivered website, including but not limited to lost revenue, lost data, or downtime. Our total liability in any circumstance is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question.

We do not guarantee specific search rankings, traffic volumes, or business outcomes from any website we build.

Either party may terminate a project engagement with 14 days' written notice. In the event of termination, you are responsible for payment of all work completed up to the termination date. Deposits are non-refundable once work has begun.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of McLennan County, Texas, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of this site or our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
